When I was in Switzerland as summer began to turn into autumn, Patrik Baab, the German broadcast journalist, asked me to sit down for an exchange about my travels and work in the West Bank. It was a wide-ranging conversation about the people I have met, the reporting I do, the escalation of Zionist violence throughout the West Bank, the necessity of international law as a prerequisite to justice, holding Israel accountable for genocide through a war crimes tribunal—altogether the need to dissolve and dismantle the Zionist state.
